Wait, Wait, Wait - What are you thinking! You mean you could just go around the endangered species act and not respect the other laws put in place for the protection of all? I know I'm young; however, this doesn't seem like a good option. US Fish and Wildlife as well as NOAA and other conservation groups are highly trained and educated in the areas that you're wanting to skip or go around. I am going into conservation as a career and I'm sure others are or are just wanting to better the planet and this would mean all that education and research would go without respect and without proper consideration. Given the state of the planets health and the number of species we're loosing everyday, I do not think this should be allowed. If anything I believe you should strengthen the ESA before we end up with people on the list. Mr. President and other decision makers, it's a circle and we've been taught this in our schools. If you impact something to severely you could tip the balance of our future. It is important that you let our experienced and highly trained scientist and organizations such as NOAA and US Fish and Wildlife look into these big project to be sure we build in a responsible way and in a way we protect all living things on the planet. We need to be aware of the choices we make and I'm asking you to become aware of what this really means. Money isn't everything. You can't eat it and the planet needs to maintain a healthy balance for all of us to survive. Ultimately, it is a circle of life that we far too often fail to acknowledge and has great repercussions to all. For example, Humpback whales are being studied because they have a unique design within their heart that would help with heart disease. There are countless things we've yet to learn and if we don't protect those that share our home, Earth; then we may never know until it is too late. Protection isn't difficult, it is a choice. Please do not abandon the ESA. To do so would be a grave mistake. To quote Martin Luther King Jr., "We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools." I choose to live. Please join me because these types of decision are what is threatening our children and grandchildren. Sincerely,
